Noah Barth
Assistant Coach
Noah Barth joined the University of South Florida women’s golf program in May 2025 as an assistant coach, adding a young but proven coaching presence to head coach AJ Newell’s staff. Barth arrived in Tampa after a successful one-year stint at Bowling Green State University, where he contributed to a resurgent season that included tournament victories at the Battle of I-75 and the Bobby Nichols Invitational. Known for his attention to detail and steady leadership, Barth quickly earned a reputation for preparation and professionalism, traits that align closely with the competitive culture being built within the USF women’s golf program.
A former collegiate golfer himself, Barth played for Tiffin University’s men’s golf team from 2017 to 2022, where he was part of a Great Midwest Athletic Conference championship team. During his playing career, he earned recognition as the conference’s Male Student-Athlete of the Year and Freshman of the Year, combining strong academic performance with competitive success on the course. His transition into coaching has been marked by an emphasis on fundamentals, course management, and player development, informed by his own experience as a student-athlete. At USF, Barth supports all aspects of the program, including instruction, recruiting, and daily operations, while helping student-athletes grow both competitively and personally. His analytical approach, commitment to excellence, and ability to connect with players position him as an important contributor as the Bulls continue to elevate their standing within collegiate women’s golf.
