Nikki Flores is the Chief of Recruiting & Operations for Wake Forest women's basketball in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She joined the Demon Deacons before the 2022-23 season as an assistant coach and moved into her current position in May 2026.
At Wake Forest, Flores contributed to both recruiting and on-court development. In her first season on staff, the program signed an ESPNW top-25 recruiting class that included multiple top-100 players, a milestone the school had not reached since 2014. Working with the guards, she coached Jewel Spear through one of the top scoring seasons in program history, as Spear totaled 546 points, earned All-ACC recognition for a second straight year, recorded 11 games of at least 20 points, and finished with 93 made three-pointers, the second-highest single-season total at Wake Forest. That same season, the Demon Deacons matched their highest win total since 2011-12, beat four NCAA tournament teams, including two that reached the Elite Eight, and posted 12 home wins, the fourth-most in school history. The team also finished second in program history with 227 made threes, improved its assist percentage by nearly 20 percent, ranked among the national top 70 in points allowed, and placed in the top 60 in three-point defense while holding ACC opponents to 19.2 percent shooting from three in home games.
