Nikki Amodeo is the associate head coach for the Hofstra University softball program in Hempstead, New York. She is in her first season on the Hofstra staff after coaching at several collegiate stops, including three recent seasons at the NCAA Division I level.
Before joining Hofstra, Amodeo served as an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut in 2024, her second stint with the program. She worked across multiple areas of the team, including the catchers and outfielders, and was part of a staff that coached the Big East Conference Player of the Year and two All-Big East first-team selections. She previously spent a season at Fordham, where she worked with the outfield and assisted in all aspects of the program, and was a volunteer assistant at Connecticut in 2022 when the Huskies won the Big East regular-season title. Earlier, she was an assistant coach at Wesleyan from 2019 to 2021.
