Nicole Alford is the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for George Washington volleyball in Washington, District of Columbia. She joined the program in 2022, is in her fourth season on staff, and took on recruiting coordinator duties in fall 2025. During her time with the Colonials, George Washington has reached the Atlantic 10 Championship twice.
A native of Annapolis, Maryland, Alford played collegiately as a setter at Georgia Tech, Maryland, and Missouri. At Maryland from 2018 to 2021, she recorded 2,037 assists, earned All-Big Ten Academic honors in 2019 and 2020, and was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar in 2020. She also served as team captain in 2019 and 2020-21. In 2018, she started all 32 matches at setter and finished with 1,117 assists, the program's highest single-season total since 2011. She later appeared in 11 matches for Missouri in 2021 and totaled 274 assists.
