Nick Robinson
Head Coach
Nick Robinson was named the head coach of the Florida Tech men’s soccer program in May 2024 after serving with distinction on the Panthers’ coaching staff since 2021. During his tenure as an assistant and later associate head coach, Robinson helped guide Florida Tech to a remarkable 28-12-13 record, including a 2023 NCAA Final Four run, the Super Region II Championship, an undefeated 2022 regular season, the program’s first Sunshine State Conference Tournament Championship, and a Sweet 16 appearance. Under his leadership, the Panthers have also developed standout talent, including the program’s first National Player of the Year in 2023 and numerous All-American and All-Region honorees. The men’s soccer coaching staff earned United Soccer Coaches Division II South Region Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2022 and 2023, as well as SSC Coaching Staff of the Year in 2022.
Robinson’s connection to Florida Tech is deep: he excelled as a player from 2009–2011, earning NSCAA All-South Region and SSC All-Conference honors, then served as a graduate assistant from 2012–2014 after completing his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration at Florida Tech. Between his collegiate roles, he spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Eastern Florida State College, contributing to multiple regional championships and a NJCAA National Championship Game appearance. Beyond collegiate coaching, Robinson has led the Viera High School boys’ soccer program to multiple regional titles and a state championship, and he guided a U19 club team to a Florida Youth Soccer Association state title. A native of Victoria, Australia, he holds NSCAA National, Advanced National Diplomas and a USSF C License, and is progressing toward his USSF B License.
