Nick Brascetta is the associate head coach for wrestling at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. He joined the Terrapins as an assistant coach in May 2019 and entered his seventh season with the program in 2025-26. Before the 2024-25 season, he was promoted to associate head coach.
At Maryland, Brascetta has been noted for his recruiting work, including a major role in assembling the program's No. 8-ranked 2021 recruiting class, which included Braxton Brown, Jaxon Smith and Ethen Miller. He worked closely with that group, along with Kal Miller, as all four qualified for the NCAA Championships in both 2022-23 and 2023-24. In 2023, Maryland sent five wrestlers to the NCAA Championships, including heavyweight Jaron Smith, marking the program's highest total since 2014. All five remained in the tournament through the second day, the school's best showing in that category since 2010. The 2022-23 team also recorded 10 dual wins, its most since 2012-13.
