Neil Harper serves as Head Coach for University of Arkansas's Swimming and Diving program in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Harper was named the eighth head coach in Arkansas Swimming and Diving program history on May 4, 2016. A native of London, Harper enters his ninth year in Fayetteville and 29 th year as a head coach, holding a 226-73 record in his 23 years as a women’s head coach and an all-time combined 338-118 record.
Harper notched his 300th all-time win as a head coach on November 3rd, 2017 at the Arkansas Natatorium against Nebraska. In his most recent season, Coach Harper guided the Razorbacks to a 7-2 record in dual meets including wins against SEC opponents Kentucky and LSU. The Razorbacks notched a 36th place finish in the NCAA Championships with Alessia Ferraguti securing All-America Honorable Mentions in 100 and 200 breaststroke. The Hogs finished 10th in the SEC.
