Nancy Evans serves as Assistant Coach for University of Mississippi's Softball program in University, Mississippi. Evans oversaw multiple no-hitters thrown by Binford and Guachino in 2025 and helped guide the Rebel staff into the postseason, where Binford was ultimately selected to the Women’s College World Series All-Tournament Team for her efforts in the circle. Under Evans, Guachino was named a D1Softball Freshman All-American, while both Binford and Guachino took home NFCA All-South Region honors.
Evans was instrumental in the development of a dynamic three-headed force at the top of the rotation in Aliyah Binford, Miali Guachino and Brianna Lopez. Ole Miss softball head coach Jamie Trachsel announced the addition of Nancy Evans, a six-time NCAA national champion pitcher and coach, to the Rebels’ staff in June of 2024, with Evans set to enter her second season in 2026.
