Morgan Ruhl is an assistant women's soccer coach at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, where she joined the staff on April 3, 2025. After her first season with the Terrapins, she spent the offseason in Jamaica working with the Jamaica Football Federation's Senior Women's National Team as a goalkeepers coach.
Before arriving at Maryland, Ruhl served five seasons as an assistant coach at Northwestern. She was part of the staff for the Wildcats' Sweet 16 run in 2022, when the team won 16 matches and matched the program's single-season wins record. That year, goalkeeper Mia Raben earned second-team All-Big Ten recognition after posting 58 saves and allowing 14 goals in 23 games under Ruhl's instruction. Ruhl was also selected for the United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 program in 2022, and in 2024 she presented on goalkeeper efficiency of movement at the organization's convention. She has also worked with the Illinois Olympic Development Program as a goalkeepers coach.
