Milan Brown is the associate head coach for the University of Pittsburgh men's basketball program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He entered his ninth season at Pitt in 2025-26 after joining the staff following three seasons at the College of Charleston, and he was promoted to associate head coach before the 2021-22 season. Brown has more than 30 years of coaching experience, including 12 seasons as a head coach.
At Pittsburgh, Brown has worked extensively with the Panthers' guards and perimeter players. In 2025-26, the backcourt group included graduate transfers Barry Dunning Jr. and Damarco Minor, with Dunning averaging 12.5 points and 5.9 rebounds in his first season at Pitt and Minor leading the team in assists while also contributing 8.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Nojus Indrusaitis added 8.9 points per game, and Brandin Cummings averaged 12.5 points in 19 appearances. The year before, Brown mentored Ishmael Leggett and Jaland Lowe as Pitt secured a third straight winning season. Lowe and Leggett combined for 32.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, 8.0 assists, and 3.5 steals per game, with Lowe earning Third Team All-ACC and Second Team NABC All-District recognition.
