Mike Spiegler
Sport Administrator
Mike Spiegler has been with the University of Florida Athletic Association (UAA) since 1987. Over the years, he has taken on progressively greater responsibilities and now holds the position of Senior Associate Athletics Director, Administration. His educational credentials are with UF as well — he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sport Sciences in 1987 and a Master’s degree in the same field in 1991.
In his current role, Spiegler oversees various athletic and administrative operations. His portfolio includes supervision of the men’s and women’s swimming & diving programs, and the men’s and women’s golf programs. He also has oversight of the university’s athletics aviation operations, equipment services, the Mark Bostick Golf Course, and the Gator Sportshop. Additionally, Spiegler plays a key role in supporting the football program’s travel logistics, bowl administration, and dining hall operations, and serves as UAA’s liaison to the SEC/NCAA for hosting championship events. He’s also a member of the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship Committee.
