Mike Piserchio
Associate Head Coach
Mike Piserchio has been a key figure in the rise of Alabama women’s soccer, serving on Wes Hart’s staff since 2015 and earning promotion to associate head coach in March 2020. In addition to his role as associate head coach, Piserchio serves as director of player development, focusing on attacking and transition tactics, as well as set pieces on both sides of the ball. He also oversees community service initiatives, assists with strength and conditioning coordination, and plays an integral role in recruiting and talent identification. During his tenure, Alabama has reached four NCAA Tournaments, including back-to-back appearances and a historic 2022 campaign that featured the program’s first SEC regular-season title, a College Cup appearance, and a No. 2 national ranking. The 2022 staff earned NCAA Division I Southeast Region Staff of the Year honors.
Before joining Alabama, Piserchio spent a decade as Director of Coaching at Colorado Rush, where he coached elite ECNL teams and helped develop numerous youth national team and professional players. A native of Littleton, Colorado, he played collegiately at the University of San Diego and the University of Denver, earning NSCAA West Region All-America honors, and spent time professionally with the Colorado Rapids in MLS. Piserchio and his spouse, Jamie, have three children: Audrina, Luca, and Eliana.
