Mike Norvell
Head Coach
Mike Norvell was named head coach of the Florida State Seminoles football program on December 8, 2019, and by 2025 enters his sixth season leading the FSU program. Under his leadership, the Seminoles achieved an undefeated regular season and claimed the 2023 ACC championship. During his coaching career, Norvell has overseen the development of numerous NFL Draft picks and All-Americans; his teams are known for high-powered offenses and consistent performance across multiple phases of the game. Before coming to Florida State, Norvell was head coach at the University of Memphis (2016–2019), where he posted a 38-15 record and won the 2019 American Athletic Conference championship. Prior to that, he served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Arizona State, and held various assistant roles at Pitt, Tulsa, and Central Arkansas. As a player, Norvell was a wide receiver at Central Arkansas, where he set the school record for receptions.
