Mike Nardi is an assistant coach for the University of Connecticut men's basketball team in Storrs, Connecticut, having joined the Huskies' staff in April 2025. He is set to enter his second season with UConn in 2026-27 after contributing to a 34-6 finish in his first year, when the Huskies reached the national championship game and made a third straight Final Four appearance. That season also saw three UConn players earn First Team All-BIG EAST recognition, a first for the conference.
Before arriving at UConn, Nardi spent a decade on the staff at Villanova, his alma mater, following an eight-year professional playing career overseas. He joined the Wildcats before the 2015-16 season as director of student-athlete development, then served as video coordinator in 2016-17 and director of basketball operations in 2017-18 before moving into an assistant coaching role. After Jay Wright retired in 2022, Nardi remained on staff for three seasons under Kyle Neptune. He also served as Villanova's interim head coach during the program's 2025 College Basketball Crown run and posted a 2-1 record.
