Mike Flanagan is the associate head coach, offensive coordinator, and tight ends coach for the University of Rhode Island football program in Kingston, Rhode Island. He enters his 11th season on the Rhode Island staff in 2025 after being promoted to offensive coordinator following the Rams' 2024 CAA Football championship season.
Flanagan joined Rhode Island in the spring of 2015 as a defensive quality control coach and worked closely with the defensive backs. He later served as director of football operations, was elevated to tight ends coach in 2017, and became recruiting coordinator after the 2018 season. Following the 2019 campaign, he was promoted to associate head coach while keeping his recruiting responsibilities. Over his time with the Rams, he also has coached running backs and the offensive line.
