Mickey Jacobs is the assistant coach for linebackers at the University of Connecticut football program in Storrs, Connecticut, joining the Huskies' staff in 2026.
Jacobs arrived at UConn after five seasons at Duquesne, where he spent the last two years as defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach. He was elevated to that position in 2024 after serving as safeties coach and special teams coordinator during a 2023 season that ended with a Northeast Conference championship and an NCAA FCS playoff appearance. Over his final two seasons at Duquesne, the defense produced 14 all-conference selections, the program's best two-year total since joining the NEC in 2008. He also was chosen for the 2026 AFCA 35 Under 35 Coaches Leadership Institute in December 2025.
