Michael Lamb
Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
Michael Lamb is in his fifth season as an assistant coach on the men’s soccer staff at Flagler College, where he focuses on defensive strategies, backline development, and serving as a key contributor to overall team tactics and training. Prior to his arrival at Flagler, Lamb spent three years as an assistant coach at Saginaw Valley State University, where his coaching helped the Cardinals achieve a combined 43-13-4 record and a 33-4-2 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). In 2016 the squad claimed the GLIAC regular season championship.
As a former collegiate player, Lamb began his career at Oregon State University in 2011 before transferring to Saginaw Valley State University. There, he played three seasons and helped the Cardinals to regular season and postseason titles -- including a 19-3-4 record in 2012. He earned first-team All-Midwest Region honors in 2013 and was named the GLIAC’s Defensive Player of the Year.
