Michael Fisher is an assistant coach for the University of Pittsburgh volleyball program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a position he assumed in March 2025 after serving on the staff as director of operations and volunteer assistant coach.
In his first season as an assistant coach in 2025, Fisher worked extensively with Pitt's serve-receive and defensive groups and coached the team's back-row unit, including Emery Dupes, Mallorie Meyer, and Izzy Masten. That season, the Panthers shared the ACC championship for a fourth straight year, reached the NCAA regional final for the sixth consecutive season, advanced to the national semifinal for the fifth year in a row, and made their 10th straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Pitt finished No. 4 in the final AVCA poll.
