Michael Bianchina serves as Associate Head Coach / Cross Country for Coastal Carolina University's Track and Field/Cross Country program in Conway, South Carolina.
Michael Bianchina was named an assistant cross country and track & field coach in August 2022 and promoted to associate head coach in December 2025. Bianchina works with the men's and women's cross country teams, as well as the distance runners on both the men's and women's track & field teams. During Bianchina's tenure, the Chants have set 12 school records (women's 4k XC, women's 5k XC, women's indoor 800m- three times, women's indoor mile, women's indoor 5k, women's DMR, women's outdoor 10k, women's outdoor 800m- two times, men's outdoor 800m), accumulated 93 top-10 all-time program marks, posted 19 all-conference performances, won four individual conference championships, and set one conference record (women's 5k XC).
