Micah Posey

Micah Posey, a Tallahassee native and Florida State alumnus, brings over a decade of experience at the NCAA Division I level to his role as Pitching Coach for the Seminoles. In his first season in Tallahassee, the program returned to the NCAA Tournament and reached the College World Series; under his guidance, four pitchers were selected in the MLB Draft—marking a milestone for the program. Before returning home to FSU, Posey coached at Dallas Baptist, East Tennessee State, and Elon, among other stops, developing staffs with strong strikeout metrics and guiding numerous players into professional baseball. He began his coaching journey at North Florida Christian (his high school) under his father, and holds a degree in marketing from Florida State.
