Mel Boscarino is an Assistant Coach for San Diego State Women's Basketball. She joined the program in fall 2021 as Director of Player Development and was promoted to assistant coach before the 2023-24 season. During her time with the staff, SDSU has produced four straight 20-win seasons and won two Mountain West championships.
Boscarino's responsibilities have included filming and editing games and practices, building player and scouting edits, creating highlights, supervising student staff, and assisting with social media. Before joining the basketball program, she worked in event management at San Diego State, Wake Forest, and Stanford, and she played at Dominican University of California before earning a master's degree in sport management from San Francisco.
