On March 13, 2025, the University at Albany women’s soccer program and at the time fourth-year head coach Sade Ayinde announced the hiring of Meg Richardson as the program’s newest assistant coach. In her first season, Richardson worked closely with the team’s goalkeepers during a strong individual season for Claudia Volino. Volino started all 17 matches, leading the America East with 100 saves and 1,530 minutes played while recording three shutouts and posting multiple nine-save performances to anchor the Great Danes’ defense.
