Megan Haughey
Head Coach
Megan Haughey has led Stevens Institute of Technology women’s basketball since the 2012–13 season, building the Ducks into a consistent postseason program while becoming the winningest coach in program history. Entering the 2025–26 season, she owns a 212–115 overall record and has guided Stevens to multiple conference championships, including Empire 8 regular-season and tournament titles, along with five NCAA Tournament appearances. Her teams have been recognized for both competitive success and player development, producing all-region and metro-area honorees and reaching the NCAA Round of 16 in 2015–16.
In addition to coaching, Haughey serves as Stevens’ Deputy Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator, a senior leadership role designed to elevate women’s representation and perspective within an NCAA athletic department. In that capacity, she contributes to department-wide management while advocating for student-athlete and women’s athletics priorities across institutional and conference settings. Her impact in administration has been acknowledged nationally, including recognition as a recipient of the NADIIIAA Emerging Athletic Administrators Award. Before Stevens, she gained coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels, including time as an assistant at DeSales University. A former student-athlete at Lafayette College, she later earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University.
