Megan Gebbia is the head coach of the Wake Forest University women's basketball team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and enters her fifth season leading the program in 2026-27 after being hired on May 26, 2022.
Wake Forest showed steady progress in her first four seasons. In 2025-26, the Demon Deacons opened 9-0, their best start since 2008-09, were the last unbeaten team in the ACC, and reached the 2026 WNIT, the program's second WNIT appearance under Gebbia. That team produced 539 assists, the second-highest single-season total in school history, and averaged 16.8 assists per game, a figure that matched the fourth-best mark in program history. Wake Forest also posted the best assist rate of Gebbia's tenure, with assists on 68.2 percent of its field goals, and freshman guard Milan Brown earned ACC All-Freshman Team recognition, becoming the program's first selection since Jewel Spear in 2020-21.
