Megan Furtney serves as Assistant Coach for Pennsylvania State University's Women's Golf program in University Park, Pennsylvania.
Megan Furtney begins her third season as an assistant coach in Happy Valley for the 2026-27 campaign after being hired on May 20, 2024. This marks the first coaching role for Furtney after graduating from Big Ten foe Minnesota with a Master of Education in Sports Management in 2024. This past season, Furtney witnessed freshman Audrey Lam secure the lowest stroke average in team history as the rookie finished the year averaging 72.41 per 18 holes.
