McKenzie Gaghan
Assistant Coach
McKenzie Gaghan joined Florida State University as an assistant coach for the inaugural women’s lacrosse team in August 2025. At FSU, she will primarily work with the Seminoles' goalkeepers, bringing experience from her playing and coaching background. Gaghan’s playing career includes significant time at East Stroudsburg University (2018–2022), where she appeared in 31 games as a goalie, logging over 1,050 minutes of play and recording 128 saves with a .494 save percentage. She also ended her collegiate career at Florida Southern, where in her final two seasons she started 20 games, recorded 103 saves, and posted an 11.66 goals-against average over 915:43 minutes. She also has accolades as a two-time IWLCA National Defensive Player of the Week, and academic honors such as PSAC Scholar Athlete. Before her coaching stint at FSU, she was part of Lenoir-Rhyne’s lacrosse staff (Assistant Coach) in fall 2024 (per Lenoir-Rhyne’s site).
