Max Dunn is an assistant coach for the University of Connecticut volleyball program in Storrs, Connecticut. UConn announced his addition to the staff after Dunn spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons as a full-time assistant coach at Stephen F. Austin State University.
At SFA, Dunn was part of a staff that produced a 47-17 combined record, an NIVC second-round appearance, an NCAA Tournament first-round appearance, and Southland Conference regular-season and tournament titles in 2025. He worked primarily with setters and served as the program's statistical analyst. During his two seasons there, SFA had multiple all-conference selections, including 2025 Southland Conference Tournament MVP Ilana De Assis and two-time all-conference honoree Katherine Holtman.
