Matthew Hendrix

Matthew Hendrix serves as an assistant coach for the Drew University men’s volleyball program, supporting the Rangers as they continue to grow within the Continental Volleyball Conference. In his role, Hendrix assists with practice planning, skill development, scouting, and match preparation. Working closely with the head coach and fellow staff members, he helps foster a competitive and disciplined team environment centered on accountability and continuous improvement. As part of the coaching staff, Hendrix contributes to the development of student-athletes both on and off the court. He supports technical training, positional instruction, and game strategy while reinforcing the program’s commitment to academic success and personal growth. Through his involvement, Hendrix plays a key role in helping sustain the program’s upward trajectory, including recent postseason qualification and continued progress as a developing varsity program.
