Matteo Gasperoni serves as Assistant Coach for Florida International University's Men's Soccer program in Miami, Florida.
After a successful two-year stint as a player on the FIU men's soccer program, Gasperonni returned back to Miami, joining the coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in August of 2024 before being promoted to assistant coach in advance of 2025. Gasperoni began his soccer career as the captain of Cesena FC, a professional academy in Italy, leading the team from ages 8 to 17. At 17, he joined Atalanta, where he played for the U19 team.
