Matt Dwyer is the associate head coach for Towson University women's soccer in Towson, Maryland. Entering the 2025 season, he is in his eighth year on the staff and his third season in the associate head coach position after a promotion in 2023.
Towson's rise during Dwyer's tenure has included several notable program milestones. In 2023, the Tigers won their first CAA regular-season title, first CAA tournament championship, and first NCAA Tournament berth, while setting a program record with 15 victories. The year before, Towson posted 12 wins, its first double-digit win total since 2000, and reached the CAA Tournament semifinals. That 2022 team allowed only 11 goals, and several players earned conference, regional, and academic recognition.
