Adkins’ coaching journey began in 2009 at Shasta College as quarterbacks coach and includes multiple stops that shaped his offensive philosophy. He worked closely with Fisk at Southern Oregon, where he served as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator, contributing to a highly productive offense during a successful period for the program. His experience also extends internationally, having coached in Sweden with the Carlstad Crusaders as both offensive coordinator and head coach. A former quarterback at Southern Oregon and Shasta College, Adkins comes from a strong football lineage, with both his father and grandfather serving as accomplished head coaches. His blend of playing experience, international coaching exposure, and collegiate success positions him as a key leader in Portland State’s offensive development.
