Mary Mosier is the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Villanova women's rowing in Villanova, Pennsylvania, a position she took on before the 2021-22 season. Since joining the staff, she has overseen recruiting while contributing to a program that posted top-five finishes at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships in 2022 and 2023. Villanova's Varsity Eight also earned CAA Boat of the Week honors twice in 2021-22, the first time the program received that recognition, and three Wildcats have been named All-CAA during her tenure.
Before arriving at Villanova, Mosier began coaching at the Shipley School in 2019 and helped the girls' novice double win a Philadelphia city title in 2021. She also coached at Penn A.C. and served as an assistant coach for the Under 23 Team. At the 2021 USRowing Summer National Championships, that group won medals in five boat classes, including a gold in the men's quad. She also worked with the women's U23 double that won the National Team Trials and went on to represent the United States at the 2021 FISA Under 23 World Championship. In 2022, she again coached the U23 team, with the women's U23 quad winning gold at the Summer National Championship.
