Martin Ingelsby is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. Hired in 2016, he entered his 10th season leading the Blue Hens in 2025-26, and Delaware extended his contract in 2022 through the 2028-29 season.
At Delaware, Ingelsby has led some of the program's most notable recent seasons. In 2021-22, the Blue Hens went 22-13, won the Colonial Athletic Association tournament, and advanced to the first round of the NCAA Tournament, giving Delaware its first conference championship since 2014. His 2019-20 team also won 22 games, matching his best single-season total at the school, opened the year with a program-record nine straight victories, and received a vote in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for the first time in 20 years. Delaware was one of only three Division I programs to improve its win total in four consecutive seasons from 2016 through 2020.
