Martina Zarza
Associate Coach
Martina Zarza serves as an Associate Coach for the Jacksonville State tennis program, working with both the men’s and women’s teams in NCAA Division I competition. A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Zarza brings an international playing background and firsthand experience with the Gamecock program to her coaching role. As a junior player, she competed in national tournaments and ITF events, achieving a top-10 junior ranking in Argentina. Her competitive experience at a high level laid the foundation for her collegiate career and current work in player development.
Zarza competed collegiately at Jacksonville State from her freshman through senior seasons, gaining a deep understanding of the program’s culture and competitive standards. Following her playing career, she transitioned into coaching, where she now contributes to practice planning, match preparation, and individual skill development. Known for her passion for the sport and commitment to athlete growth, Zarza focuses on technical refinement, match strategy, and fostering a positive team environment. Her unique perspective as both a former Gamecock student-athlete and international competitor strengthens her impact on the continued development of Jacksonville State tennis.
