Mark Sansone is entering his twelfth season with the University of Mary Washington men’s basketball program, where he serves as the assistant coach. Over the past decade, he has played a key role in recruiting efforts — including securing multiple Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Rookies of the Year — and managing operational functions such as scouting, film exchange, scheduling, travel logistics and academic monitoring for student-athletes.
Sansone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Roanoke College (2011) and earned his Master’s in Organizational Leadership while serving as a graduate assistant at Eastern University. Early in his career he coached at Fredericksburg Christian School, and then supported Eastern University’s men’s basketball program as recruiting coordinator and assistant coach.
