Mark Keki
Graduate Assistant
Mark Keki joined the NJIT men’s tennis program in July 2024 as a graduate assistant coach, adding elite Division I playing experience and immediate competitive insight to the Highlanders’ staff. In his role, Keki assists with daily training sessions, match preparation, and player development while supporting the program’s continued rise within the Southland Conference. His transition into coaching follows one of the most accomplished playing careers in Sacramento State men’s tennis history.
Keki completed a decorated four-year career at Sacramento State, where he was a cornerstone of the Hornets’ lineup from start to finish. He earned First Team All-Big Sky honors in both singles and doubles in all four seasons and was unanimously selected to the All-Big Sky First Team as both a junior and senior. In 2024, Keki was also named the Big Sky Conference Most Valuable Player after helping guide Sacramento State to its first conference championship in 11 years. Playing primarily out of the No. 1 singles position, he posted a 17–3 dual match record during his senior season, including a 13-match winning streak. Over his collegiate career, Keki compiled a 52–15 singles record, including a dominant 45–12 mark at the top of the lineup, and added a 53–11 doubles record for a combined career mark of 105–26. His competitive success and leadership at the Division I level now serve as a foundation for his coaching role at NJIT.
