Mark Ivey is the co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach for the University of Louisville football program in Louisville, Kentucky, entering his eighth season on the Cardinals' staff in 2026 and his fourth working under head coach Jeff Brohm.
Ivey moved into his current post for the 2026 season after serving as Louisville's linebackers coach from 2023 through 2025. In 2024, linebackers T.J. Quinn and Stanquan Clark led the team with 82 and 76 tackles, and Quinn finished atop the roster in tackles for a second straight year. In Ivey's first season coaching that group, Quinn broke out as a first-year starter with 92 tackles, posted four games with at least 10 stops, and earned all-league recognition.
