Mark Collings joined the University of Washington men’s soccer program as an assistant coach in July 2021, following a 14-year tenure as head coach at Seattle Pacific University. Entering his fifth season on Montlake in 2025, Collings has helped lead the Huskies to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including the program’s first College Cup and a national runner-up finish in 2021. He also contributed to Washington’s 2022 Pac-12 Championship and guided the team back to the NCAA Tournament in 2024.
During his head coaching career at Seattle Pacific, Collings amassed a 129-68-32 record, won two Great Northwest Athletic Conference championships, and led five consecutive NCAA Division II Tournament appearances (2011–2015). His teams set school records with 13 consecutive wins and a 15-game unbeaten streak in 2014. Collings earned three GNAC Coach of the Year awards (2010, 2014, 2015) and coached teams with multiple all-league honorees.
