Mark Adams serves as Assistant Coach for University of Mississippi's Men's Basketball program in University, Mississippi. Adams most recently spent the 2023-24 season as an assistant coach at East Carolina under head coach Michael Schwartz. Adams most recently helped guide Ole Miss to a historic run at the 2026 SEC Tournament, winning three games in three days to reach the semifinal round.
Widely regarded as one of the top defensive coaches in the country, Mark Adams joined Chris Beard’s staff at Ole Miss during the summer of 2024. He joined the Pirates after two seasons as the head coach at Texas Tech, where he took the helm after the departure of Beard.
