Marissa Prinzbach is the associate head coach for Boston College women's volleyball in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and is entering her eighth season with the program after joining the staff in January 2018 as the first addition under head coach Jason Kennedy.
At Boston College, Prinzbach has been part of a period of sustained progress for the program. The Eagles went 19-13 overall and 8-10 in ACC play in 2023 after opening the year with seven straight home wins. In 2022, Boston College won the National Invitational Volleyball Championship with a 3-1 road victory over Drake, securing the first postseason title in program history and finishing 24-13 after setting a new single-season record for victories. Two players, Grace Penn and Sophia Lambros, also reached 1,000 career assists at BC while she was on staff. In 2024, Julia Haggerty led both the ACC and the NCAA in total blocks and earned All-ACC and All-Region recognition.
