Mackenzie Keyes is the associate head coach for the University of Connecticut softball program in Storrs, Connecticut. She joined Laura Valentino's staff in 2023 and entered her third season with the Huskies in 2026, serving as hitting coach and recruiting coordinator.
Keyes oversaw one of the most productive offenses in program history in 2025. UConn set single-season school records for batting average, runs scored, home runs, doubles, RBI, walks, and total bases, and the lineup played a major part in the team's ninth BIG EAST Tournament title. The Huskies outscored opponents 35-9 across three tournament games and scored a conference tournament-record 18 runs in the championship game. Her hitters also earned broad recognition, including seven All-BIG EAST selections, the league's Player and Freshman of the Year awards, and four NFCA All-Region honors. Three players topped the program's previous single-season home run mark, and seven finished the year batting better than .300.
