Mackenzie Beyer is an assistant coach for the University of Maine softball program in Orono, Maine, and began the position in the 2024-25 school year. She arrived at Maine after serving as an assistant coach at Holy Cross and previously worked in 2023 as head coach of Fury Platinum New England 16U, while also providing hitting and defensive instruction at the HIT Center of Rhode Island and volunteering at La Salle Academy in Providence.
Beyer played three seasons at Coastal Carolina from 2019 to 2021, appearing in 109 games with 105 starts. She batted .289 with 20 home runs and earned Sun Belt Conference academic honors. She graduated from Coastal Carolina in 2023 with a bachelor of science in public health.
