Lyle Wolf is an assistant coach for the University of Maryland men's basketball program in College Park, Maryland, beginning his first season with the Terrapins in 2025-26. The move reunites him with head coach Buzz Williams, whose staffs Wolf has served on for 14 seasons overall across stops at Marquette, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, and now Maryland.
Before arriving at Maryland, Wolf spent five years at Virginia Tech and later joined Williams at Texas A&M. At Texas A&M, he was part of a staff that reached the NCAA Tournament in three straight seasons and recorded four consecutive 20-win campaigns, a run matched only once before in program history. The Aggies also reached the SEC Tournament semifinals three times and advanced to the championship game twice during his tenure.
