Luke Boden
Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator
Luke Boden has been part of the Rollins College men’s soccer coaching staff since 2018, serving as an assistant coach and the team’s recruiting coordinator. In this role, he works closely with the head coach on training, tactics, and recruiting efforts, helping to develop student-athletes and build competitive squads in the Sunshine State Conference. Boden brings a wealth of professional playing experience and a deep understanding of the game to his coaching duties, contributing to Rollins’ continued success on the field.
A native of Sheffield, England, Boden began his soccer career in the academy system of Sheffield Wednesday and made his senior debut with the club in 2006. He also had stints with Chesterfield, Rushden & Diamonds, and Northampton Town before moving to the United States in 2011 to join Orlando City in the USL Pro League. During his time with Orlando City, he was a key contributor as the club ascended from USL to Major League Soccer, appearing in 87 USL Pro matches and earning USL Pro Team of the Season honors in 2014, along with 45 MLS appearances. Boden finished his playing career with the Tampa Bay Rowdies in 2017 before transitioning into coaching at Rollins.
