Luke Bay
Pitching Coach
Luke Bay serves as the Pitching Coach for the Queens University of Charlotte baseball program, where he oversees the development, mechanics, and strategy of the pitching staff. He was confirmed on the Royals’ 2025 coaching staff roster, returning to Charlotte to lead the mound staff.
During his first season, under his oversight, Queens’ pitching staff struck out the second-most batters in a single season in program history, with Kansas State transfer Landry Jurecka being a significant contributor—he recorded 75 strikeouts. Bay’s role is integral to the program’s continued growth on the mound, pairing his coaching acumen with the broader staff led by head coach Jake Hendrick and associate head coach James Cullinane.
