Lukas Fernandes is an assistant men's soccer coach at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a position he joined in April 2023. He arrived from Temple, where he assisted the Owls' men's soccer program and worked in daily training while concentrating on the attacking group.
Fernandes also brings a professional playing background. He spent multiple seasons with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the USL Championship and served as club captain for Flower City Union in Rochester, New York, making nearly 30 appearances and scoring six goals across those stops. Before turning professional, he was a team captain and All-American Athletic Conference performer at Temple, where he played in 55 matches and led the program in goals and assists in 2018 and 2019. He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Temple in 2019.
