Luis Guzman is an assistant coach for the University of New Hampshire men's basketball team in Durham, New Hampshire, and is in his fourth year with the program. He joined Nathan Davis' staff for the 2023-24 season. In 2026, Guzman was named associate head coach of the Nicaraguan Senior National Team for the FIBA Qualifying Games. At UNH, he was on the staff when Clarence Daniels was selected as the America East Player of the Year, and in spring 2024 he was recognized by Silver Waves Media as one of its 100 Rising Stars among men's mid-major assistant coaches.
Before arriving at New Hampshire, Guzman spent the 2022-23 season as director of basketball operations at the University at Albany, where Jonathan Beagle earned America East Rookie of the Year honors. Earlier in his career, he served as director of basketball operations at Stetson from 2019 to 2022, associate head coach at Monroe College in 2018-19, and director of player development at Rider in 2017-18. He also worked with FIBA from 2017 to 2022 as a director of scouting and assistant coach, and held a league basketball operations position with the NBA in 2017-18.
