Louis Whitlow
Head Coach
Louis Whitlow enters his first season as the interim head baseball coach at Alabama A&M University, bringing more than 15 years of coaching experience to the Bulldogs program. No stranger to Alabama A&M baseball, Whitlow previously served as the team’s hitting and batting coach, where he worked closely with position players to develop offensive consistency and approach at the plate. His coaching background spans multiple levels of the game, including Travel Showcase Baseball, Monrovia Middle School, Adult League Baseball, and collegiate baseball at Alabama A&M. In addition to team coaching, Whitlow has more than a decade of experience in specialized training, offering private instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, and catcher development.
A 1999 graduate of Huffman High School in Birmingham, Alabama, Whitlow is an alumnus of Alabama A&M University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Marketing. He furthered his education with dual master’s degrees in Management and Human Resources from the Florida Institute of Technology and holds an international certification in personality studies. A proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Whitlow remains actively involved in the Huntsville community. Off the field, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and their three sons, Lamir, David, and Ace, while continuing to advocate for the city he has long called home.
