Louis Hinnant is the associate head coach for George Mason men's basketball in Fairfax, Virginia, a position he has held since June 2026 after joining the staff as an assistant coach in April 2023.
Since arriving at George Mason, Hinnant has been part of a stretch in which the Patriots established new program standards for wins, league victories, overall winning percentage, and conference winning percentage over a staff's first three seasons in the Patriot era. George Mason also earned a share of its first Atlantic 10 regular-season championship in 2025.
