Lindsey Spann is the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the University of Maryland women's basketball program in College Park, Maryland. A Maryland native, she joined Brenda Frese's staff in the summer of 2019 as director of recruiting operations and moved into an assistant coaching role in the spring of 2020.
Across her first seven seasons on the Maryland staff, the Terrapins posted a 173-53 record, won Big Ten regular-season championships in 2020 and 2021, captured Big Ten Tournament titles in 2020 and 2021, reached the Sweet Sixteen in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025, and advanced to the Elite Eight in 2023. In her first season at Maryland, the Terrapins finished 28-4 and closed the year on a 17-game winning streak while winning both the conference regular-season title and tournament championship. The following season, after replacing all five starters, Maryland went 26-3, finished 17-1 in Big Ten play, led the nation in scoring at 90.8 points per game, and returned to the Sweet Sixteen.
